We reserved a table of 4 adults and 3 children for New Year's Day. First surprise, the cocktail of the day displayed on the menu is not available that day even though it was still the time to bring it out…. Dinner on the terrace was cool, even cold because we lost a heating mushroom in the middle of the meal, it did not survive. The overall experience is quite negative, the quality of the dishes, the cooking of the lobster or the service was not up to standard and highlights the need for this restaurant to improve its quality standards in order to make a more pleasant experience. his clients. No dishes were presented, most of the dishes returned to the kitchen without even having touched them, but obviously the staff did not take the comments into account. We felt that the objective was more to get us out before midnight. The experience was deteriorated by the fact that we dined in the cold, while keeping our jackets on, and hoping to keep our toes. We paid €552 with a bottle of wine. To ultimately leave extremely disappointed for mediocre dishes, no atmosphere in the room and no attentiveness from the staff. On the way back, we stopped, had a cocktail in An Italian restaurant, and honestly the cocktails were terrible and we regretted not coming to eat a pizza because the atmosphere in the room was frankly great (Barocco) I recommend it.

The 464 Harbor or a New Year’s Eve without the spirit of New Year’s Eve. What can we say about this evening that was promising on paper and so disappointing in reality? A restaurant in which the welcome is as cold and distant upon arrival as upon exit? No holiday decoration, no tablecloths, no cloth napkins for a holiday meal still sold at 90 Euros per head. Not a menu on the table recalling the succession of dishes offered at the table! Oops ! Was it necessary to have revised it and learned it by heart before sitting down to eat? Fortunately our young, adorable waitress was able to charitably help us by fetching a reminder from the kitchen to remind us what we were going to eat. Yesterday evening, in this restaurant, which nevertheless aims to be a good restaurant in Bandol, the freshness of the novice servers surpassed the fast, even expeditious service of an experienced hostess, who, perhaps remembering her years spent at Flunch, threw out more plates, that she placed them respectfully in front of the guests. The meal was OK but not very quantitative! Lots of decorum in the announced menu, and little flash on the plates! A good point however for the lobster cooked with care and whose flesh was tasty. What can I say in conclusion about a hostess who hands you the bill without asking about your evening? Did she fear a mixed opinion, or did she just not care? the second option seems to me to prevail. The adjective summarizing this evening is that of “disappointing” without a doubt! A word of advice though! May 464 Harbor continue to excel in what it does best by offering quality fish and cooking, but may 2024 instill in it the art of hospitality and the spirit of celebration which the restaurant was terribly lacking last night !
